2. What Data We Collect

When you use the Salary Intelligence tool, we may collect:

• CV files (PDF, DOC, DOCX) you upload for analysis
• LinkedIn profile URLs you provide
• Free-text input describing your experience or job descriptions
• Job description files or URLs you submit for benchmarking
• Email address if you opt in to receive results or be matched with opportunities

We do not use cookies for tracking. No analytics or advertising trackers are loaded.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your personalized salary estimate
• To match candidates with relevant opportunities (only if you provide your email)
• To provide companies with benchmarking insights for their job descriptions
• To improve the accuracy of our salary models (aggregated, anonymized data only)

4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): You actively submit your data for analysis. You can withdraw consent at any time by requesting deletion (see Section 7).
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our salary models.

5. Third-Party Services

Your data may be shared with the following processors:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — to analyze your CV/JD and generate salary estimates. Data is sent via API and not stored by Anthropic beyond the request.
• Supabase — to store leads and uploaded files securely (hosted in the EU).
• RapidAPI (LinkedIn scraper) — only if you provide a LinkedIn URL. The URL is sent to retrieve public profile data.
• Resend — to send you email results, only if you provide your email address.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission, after which it is automatically deleted. Uploaded CV files are stored securely and subject to the same retention period. You may request early deletion at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz)

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. API keys and secrets are managed via environment variables and never exposed to the client.
